I Love London

This is a book i created with my sister, as a visual journal of our work experience down in London.
Robinsons Brand Extension

My sister and I had a university brief to extend the Robinson’s range. We decided to concentrate on the slogan “Raise Them On Robinson’s” which we then applied to children’s learning/education. We designed a Pre-School and Key Stage 1 range that included 2 characters. The stories are all based around water, relating it back to the original Robinson’s drink products.
Frisbee Re-branding

My sister and i re-branded Frisbee to make it more challenging and exciting to children. We created the tag line ‘Don’t Drop It’ which is a strong and direct statement. We designed the frisbee to include a counter so everytime it is dropped it resets itself back to zero. In addition, we created an advertising campaign to demonstrate that Frisbee is just as challenging as any other sport.
How to: Achieve the perfect fake tan

Instead of painting your walls the colour you want, why not paint yourself the colour you want? I have designed a self tanning guide that uses colour swatches for people to easily choose the exact shade they want to tan themselves. A poster accompanies the swatches with visual and written instructions.
Without suffering there is no compassion: Unconditional love of God

I took these series of pictures to demonstrate how a person, (represented by the hands) is capable of love, compassion but can also cause suffering. I made it into a 20 second animation.
Artemis Juice Drinks

A university brief asked me to create a new brand with a name of a Greek God, i chose Artemis. I then had to design a food/drink product that could be sold by the brand. Using the God’s associations with fruits, forests and berries, i decided to create a fruit drink range that included blackberry, Cranberry, Strawberry and Raspberry. The strong colours of the drinks were the main focus of the bottles so the logo has been cut-out of the white packaging so they show through. The added leaf detail helps it to appear more organic and natural.
Penguin book Re-design

The first book: A Farewell To Arms
It is a tragic love story set in War torn Italy during World War I. The lovers have to endure a set of unfortunate incidents which tests their faith. I have designed the cover to highlight the similarities and differences between the lovers. The woman is carrying a child, which is precious and signifies love and peace. In comparison the man is also carrying something, but it is army equipment that signifies hatred and death.
The second book: The Body In The Library
Miss Marple investigates the death of a dancer, whose body was found in a library. The dancer had some interesting relationships with local people and money plays an important factor. Therefore the cover design includes an elegant dancer whose body forms the shape of a sterling pound symbol, to integrate the two factors.
T-Shirt Design

This t-shirt design uses a cut-out coupon as a metaphor for winning someone’s heart.
How to represent design
It was a very hard challenge to represent design in a single visual form. To me, design is an equal collaboration of Word and Image, therefore i decided to integrate those words together using an ampersand.
Personal Design Identity

This piece of work encapsulates me as a person. I have used my own hand-print but modified the middle finger to include a paint brush shape, which emphasizes how important creativity is in my life. Its a very simple image, but the subtle addition of the paintbrush shape, makes it very powerful.
